Mark Reser, D.V.M.

Veterinarian

Dr. Mark Reser was born in Midwest City and raised in Oklahoma City. After graduating from Northeast High School,Dr. Mark Reser he attended Oklahoma State University where received a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1998.
Along with his wife Jennifer, he moved to Portland , Oregon where he practiced in a busy 24-hour emergency hospital. He enjoyed traveling throughout Oregon , Washington and Northern California during this time. Upon leaving Oregon he moved to Tulsa to be hospital director at Woodland West Animal Hospital before moving back to Oklahoma City where he and Jennifer are raising their sons, Wes and Isaac.
Dr. Reser’s four-legged family includes two dogs (Molly and Bailey) and two cats (Max and Murray), along with several fish. His hobbies include travel, playing with his two sons and working in his yard.
He has enjoyed very diverse training as a veterinarian, working in two 24-hour emergency clinics, and a smaller general practice. He has also been fortunate to have worked with some of the best veterinarians in this state; Drs. Ross Clark and Tina Neel who are pioneers in their field. Dr. Reser's veterinary interests include emergency medicine, rehabilitation, and internal medicine.

Jennifer

Veterinary Assistant

Veterinary Assistant JenniferJennifer is a veterinary technician with over ten years experience. She was born in Houston, but has lived in Oklahoma City since she was ten years old. She has three children, and three four-legged kids. Her love of animals started as a child when she helped her grandfather with his horses. In her off time she gardens, cooks, and enjoys her family time.

Terrien

Lead Kennel Technician

Terrien began working at Harvest Hills in Feb 07 as a Kennel Technician and quickly illustrated a natural ability in caring for animals as well as working with fearful or nervous patients. She is the Lead Kennel Technician who insures boarders and daycare participants receive attentive and personalized care during their stay with us. Over the last year she has also been training as a Veterinary Assistant to assist the Veterinary Technicians, as well as Dr. Reser in many facets of patient care. In conjunction with her hands on instruction she has also taken online courses from Stratford Career Institute in Veterinary Assisting.
Terrien has 2 dogs, Duke a Lab, Spike a Lab Mix, and a cat who is convinced he is also a dog, named Milkshake. Duke and Spike enjoy splashing around in their pool, and chewing on basketballs. Milkshake enjoys hiding his toys, playing chase, and lounging in his own child sized recliner. In what little spare time Terrien has, she enjoys spending time with her pets and family, trying to keep up with her little brother, customizing her new car, and has an amazing knack for organization.

Shai

Hospital Manager & Veterinary Technician

Shai joined the team at Harvest Hills in May of 07 as the Hospital Manager and Veterinary Technician. Prior to this she worked as a Technician in a fast paced 24 hour veterinary hospital and developed an interest in emergency and surgical cases, as well as working with exotics. She also has an extensive background in client relations and management.
Shai is the proud Mother of 2 Great Danes named Madeline and Amelia, a Siamese cat named Mr. Maaeo, a Maine Coon Mix named Esmaralda Von Grace, and an Orange Winged Amazon parrot named Yoda. Madeline and Amelia love to wear vintage scarves, chew on each other, and victoriously de-fluff their stuffed toys. Mr. Maaeo loves his sisters Madeline and Esmaralda, but only begrudgingly tolerates his other siblings. He enjoys sunning himself in the windows, knocking things off tables or countertops, and chasing or chewing on Madeline or Esmaralda. Yoda loves to break things, get scratchies, and talk or scream for more attention. Esmaralda Von Grace is the newest addition who lives a glamorous life of leisure and enjoys making biscuits on those who cannot resist cuddling with her.
In Shai’s spare time she enjoys photography, various craft projects, decorating her home, all things vintage, spending time with her furr children and friends, reading, writing, and serving as a Board Member for The Bella Foundation.

Buffy

Receptionist

Buffy began working at Harvest Hills in January of 08 as our receptionist and has been a vibrant addition to our staff. She helps coordinate a smooth flow of clientele through the hospital and always greets both clients and patients with a warm smile and cheerful disposition. Though she is new to the animal health field, working with animals is not something new for Buffy, as she worked as a Doggie Daycare Attendant and has had animals of her own for many years. She attributes her ability to multi task while providing personalized client relations to her 20+ years in the client services industry.
Buffy is the proud Mother of 2 energetic Great Danes, named Duke and Varla who love to wrestle and play tug of war. They have their very own couch to rest on once they tire each other out and their very own room in the house. In Buffy’s spare time she and her husband both enjoy restoring and cruising in their own vintage cars, a 1950 Ford and a 1955 Dodge, listening to Rockabilly music, attending car shows, and decorating their home.

Kristina

Kennel Technician

Kristina moved to Oklahoma in May of 2008 from Memphis TN , and began working at Harvest Hills in June of 2008 as a Kennel Technician. This is her first position in the animal care industry; however she grew up having pets and riding horses. She has quickly adopted the Harvest Hills philosophy of treating each pet as if it were her own and plans on taking Veterinary Assisting courses to further her knowledge in the animal health care field.
Kristina is the proud mother of a domestic shorthair cat named Mira who came to Harvest Hills from a rescue group for routine veterinary care. Mira’s sweet, playful disposition and warm personality were irresistible. Mira now spends her time zooming around the house, attacking toes, and refusing to be held.
In Kristina’s spare time she enjoys spending time with Mira, drawing, and learning her way around Oklahoma City.
